Bridging the gap between potential and professional success through empowerment, education, and community.
A Journey of Resilience
My professional path is deeply intertwined with my personal journey. Living with Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) and navigating blindness hasn’t just been a challenge to overcome—it has been the catalyst for my life’s work.
I’ve spent over 15 years dismantling the barriers that stand between the blind community and the professional world. My story is one of shifting perspectives: moving from a diagnosis to a mission. Today, I lead multiple organizations dedicated to ensuring that every blind professional has the tools, the network, and the confidence to own their seat at the table.
But my work doesn’t stop there. I believe that vision is so much more than what eyes can see. I am equally passionate about working with the sighted community, challenging them to tap into their "inner vision" to see the world—and human potential—differently. Whether I am equipping a blind professional for success or helping a sighted leader shift their perspective, my goal remains the same. Building a world where inclusion isn't just a policy, but a shared way of seeing.

My Support Groups
You Are Not Alone in Your Journey
After a decade-long search for an NMO diagnosis, I realized that peer support is the ultimate key to overcoming the "separate struggle" of rare disease and vision loss. I have dedicated two distinct spaces for connection:
- Vision Loss Support: A safe space for peers who happen to be blind.
- NMO Support Group: A dedicated room for those navigating the unique path of Neuromyelitis Optica.
